Brendan Fitzgibbon

Brendan currently leads global strategy go-to-market and commercialization initiatives for Visa Inc’s core next generation faster payment product, Visa Direct. Prior to this role, Brendan led Visa’s response to global regulatory and government activity in the highly regulated Payments industry. Brendan is active in leadership roles across Visa that include fintech strategy, IoT, government solutions, regulatory risk for clients, alternative payment methods, the economic impact of digital payments, future of work, smart cities and financial inclusion. Prior to Visa, Brendan spent several years in Corporate Strategy consulting, most notably with Kaiser Associates, leading engagements covering market intelligence, M&A, political-economic risk and go-to-market strategy. He has a BA in Political Science from Duke University and a MBA in Global Management from the Thunderbird School at Arizona State University.
